Participation Rounds for HDFC Bank Meritus Scholarship ProgramBeing selected for the scholarship program is not very simple. All the registered students will have to go through Round 1.
Round 1 – Interactive Voice Recording System (IVR - Telephonic Test)
In Round 1, parents will receive an SMS/email regarding the dates on which the test needs to be taken by their kid.
During the telephone test, each child will have to answer 10 random questions. Each question will have three optional answers and the participant has to select the right answer.

Also, the students will be grouped based on the standard they are studying in. Questions will be asked accordingly. The 3 groups are as follows –
Group 1 - Standard 4 and 5Group 2 - Standard 6 and 7Group 3 - Standard 8 and 9
Participants with the highest score will reach Round 2. All participants who do not qualify for Round 2 will receive a Participation Certificate or a Bronze Certificate based on their score.
Students who clear Round 1 and are top scorers in Round 1 will move on to Round 2.
Round 2 - IVR(Telephonic Test)
Round 2 is same as Round 1. However, participants who do not clear Round 2 will receive a Silver Certificate.
The final round before select the winners is Round 3.
Round 3 - Written Test
In Round 3 which is the final round, written tests which will be conducted. For the written tests, finalists will have to visit the nearest test centre where the tests are being conducted.
Mentioned below are the criteria that will be considered for evaluation:Particpants reaching the final written rounds need to carry the original marksheets, certificates and documentary proof of their achievements for verification at the venue. Photocopies of these documents have to be submitted along with the form provided at the venue.
